Make Michelle Lynn Taylor's sentence shorter than life in prison.
In our opinion, the sentence was not appropriate for her crime. Michelle Lynn Taylor got put in jail for life for what she did, and we don’t think that’s fair because of other cases. There’s a case where a man raped six kids, one who was only five years old, and he got 70 years. If she never even had sex with the boy, why should she get a longer sentence than him? And in another case, where a woman actually had sex with a boy, she was sentenced with 10 years convicted, and she also got parole. Michelle Lynn Taylor got possible parole in 10 years, but it wasn’t guaranteed.
A factor that we believe makes our dissident innocent of charge is that she got sentenced to life in prison for having sex with a minor, when she actually didn’t. She forced him to touch her breasts, and we believe she should be in jail for it, but she is innocent of having sex with the boy.
