My point is how is rising the price of beer going to solve the problems of alcoholism in Ireland. By rising the price of beer you are only going to drive the numbers of people that are homeless further up because it’s an addiction and can’t be solved by raising the prices , instead people with an alcohol problem that are already in financial difficulties will be even worse off because they still have to support there habit !! 
The financial pressure will also then be associated with higher domestic abuse  due to people not being able to support there habit. 
And last of all the government said they will help young people in college etc to catch up on the last two years of there life’s that they have missed socialising as any young person should be able to do… So then they decide to rise the prices of alcohol which in the society we live in is one of the best ways or socialising !! 

So writing on behalf of all people young and old rethink this outrageous decision and reverse it !!
