My name is Esther Bartlett and I live in a maisonette, Plymouth, above a shop for which I own the leasehold. The freeholder turned off the water supply for 2 years. The law says you cannot turn off the water. The freeholder took back the ground floor area and extended the shop. The fire authority after 5 years closed them and told them to return my land. This have partly been done but still not the full area.  After they lied in court about the water supply, they lied again about the land. They lied again in court with their solicitor, this is why I write this story. I want to do something about these injustices. I want to prepare a petition to send to Parliament and contact our MP. I will also contact the media to help get the justice system to change. The reason for this is that there are too many people too scared to go to court. I have many people come to me in my shop saying they have lost considerable money in court action to no avail. This is why I want to do this for the sake of my myself who has been wrongfully been treated with lack of justice and many others who have suffered and still suffering from lack of justice. Let’s get the system working again like it’s never been before.
