you see as a Muslim I celebrate eid as it’s my only festival. I have to fast 30 days before hand to celebrate. The government on the other hand give a one day off. I’m not asking for much but maybe 2-3 days is better as eid is something you stay up late for and wake up early. It’s a whole day celebration. Having that extra day after eid can help prepare ourselves again for the oncoming days. eg: getting ready for school or getting prepared for work the next morning. I know this sounds stupid but eid is the day I wait for forever all year and I like to stay up late and be with my family, but having school or work the next day means I can’t be enjoying my day but having to know I have to cut off half the events just so I get sleep. Please get this petition going I’m begging!
