It’s been proven time and time again that schools are unsafe regarding the Covid-19 Pandemic. Norma Foley declaring schools are ‘safe’ then continuing to say it will be “challenging, difficult and demanding” is contradictory. As stated 2 years ago when this pandemic started, HEPA filters are needed in classrooms for them to be more safe. However, after 2 long years nothing has been done about this. Students are expected to sit in an ice cold classroom with the windows open in the middle of one of the coldest winters Ireland has had, without jackets, hats, scarfs etc; Which is inhumane and cruel. 

Schools have had more them enough time to set better safety precautions in place yet nothing as been done. To the Dáil, the Taoiseach, the Tánaiste, the Minister of Education and anyone else who is able to make a change in schools, please listen to the cries of students and teachers instead of sending us back to unsafe schools under these circumstances.
