Mothers are being made to mediate with former abusers and ex partners due to sharing a child with them. If a woman has been raped/domestically/mentally abused by the child’s father, the father can still get parental/visitation rights to the child. The entire family law system needs to be overlooked as women being made to mediate with former abusers/ex partners could be incredibly dangerous and damaging to the mother and child’s physical and mental health. I am campaigning for men to lose parental rights to a child if they choose to commit such crimes upon their child’s mother. Mother’s need better safeguarding from abuse. 

Mother’s who have been abused by a former partner deserve better support form social care, the police, and all women should be entitled to legal aid for court representation. No woman should have to live her life knowing her abuser is close by. This has to stop.
