Our Fur Baby Flora Had to be put to sleep on the 21st November 2019. I bought Flora in 2016, she was advertised on FB (social media) she was the runt of the litter & her little face just kept popping up when I was on the site, I felt the need to go & meet her & when I did I was not really shocked in the conditions she was breed in.

She was on a concrete floor with just a box & blanket, a bowl on Bakers food stuck to the bottom of a Big Silver Dogs bowl, the place stank! She seemed very fatigued & had a swollen tummy ( sure sign she hadn’t been wormed. I couldn’t leave her there so I paid £285.00 the amount says it all!! & got her out of there.

It took me 8 weeks to get rid of the worms, she then had lumps come up on her legs caused through the concrete floor she had been on for the first 6 weeks of her life. Then the worst part happened I woke up one morning & my baby girl couldn’t open her mouth, I took her straight to the vets & was told she had a condition called MMM Masticatory muscle myositis, which is a muscle wasting disease.

This is an auto immune condition, overall I spent £6000.00 trying to get flora put right, but to no avail the condition just kept coming back & she was in terrible pain. After going back to the so called breeders I have found out that Flora was the product or Her Dad Mating with Flora’s sister from the 1st litter, Flora mum had 2 litters in the space of a year this cannot be allows to go on, I am petitioning for dog Licensing to be brought in, to end this money making dog breeding  racket! Flora’s condition is down to bad breeding, she was 3 years old & was fit in every other way we are devastated losing her.
