Single People with disabilities and those dependant on housing benefit lose 14% of their rent allowance for having 1 extra bedroom. Bearing in mind one bedroomed properties are extremely limited and there may be a need to have an extra room (i.e. for family or carer to use), this puts many people who are already struggling below the poverty line into rent arrears. I am one of these people affected by this. Please sign and pass on to others so we can stop the Government taking money from the poorest in our society.
