What's the most important aspect of human life? Health. And the jewel of the british nation is of course the NHS. And it is under funded. The government only cares about what it can make from the NHS, there are those that will argue "but i pay national insurance out of my paychech every month!" But are you sure that the NHS is getting its fair share? Because im not.

Nerely all of us have needed to attend the hospital at some point in our lives. Illness, broken bones, traumatic injury or worse. And no doubt you have been in hospital and cared for, or on the opposite end of the spectrum, been in hospital and realised how dire things are.

I have an idea. A maximum £10 a month payment for every working uk citizen earning above minimum wage. A very small NHS donation fee from anybodys benefits. The NHS and the people that make it, that bieng the nurses, doctors, surgeons, porters, paramedics right down to the cleaners are detrimental to the health of each and every uk citizen and will always do what is necessary to make sure you are looked after, why not return the favour?

Of course i also agree that paying citizens should recieve the healthcare that they are paying for. Anybody who isn't paying into it, well... bill them. Like the americans do.

What im suggesting is that we the people look after the NHS, just like all of the people tge NHS employ would look after us if we were in danger. Why not give a little back that the government cant get its sticky hands on?

This would guarentee all people paying into the NHS top quality healthcare from a health service funded primarily on the people and their families that use it.

Me personally? I pay national insurance. I earn just above minimum wage. And if i was asked to pay £10 a month into the service that looks after my sick mother, my elderly grandparents, my epileptic cousin or my rediculously accident prone sister then i would do so gladly, so long as i know that 100% of that money is going into our health service. And i hope that the majority of the people reading this petition would too.

Its down to us to make our NHS great again. If we make it ours, it is safe from prying hands or an underfunding government.
