Why this petition matters

Started by Jayla Walters

I been a Flash fan for at least two years and over those two years I have noticed the writing of The Flash slowly starting to become bad. By bad I mean by season 5, fans have started getting sick and tired of the character “Iris” it is as if the show has become about her and not Barry Allen A.K.A “The Flash”. Then we get to season 7 fans were super upset with Hartley Sawyer being taken off the show. The reason most fans kept watching The Flash was because of Hartley Sawyers’ character “Ralph Dibny”.

The Flash season 7 has just come out and of course I started watching it,after two episodes I finally came to the conclusion that the season was terrible. I hated the fact that I was starting to dislike my favorite show. With good writing this could have been one of the best seasons yet. There were so many twists and surprises that fans would have loved with good writing.

When I watched the second episode of season 7 I kept thinking of how they wrote it . The best way I can explain the writing is like they put 3 episodes worth of a story into one 45 minute episode. There was so many things being thrown at me at once. I felt like each villain didn’t get the recognition they deserved for example Abra Kadabra had been caught by Team Flash only after 10-20 minutes of searching for him. Usually something bigger like what Abra Kadabra was doing would have taken longer. But immediately when Abra Kadabra had decided to change his life and turn good he died. He only had about 5 minutes of living a turned around life. In conclusion I would like for season 8 of The Flash to have better writers for the sake of everyone. More people would watch the show again. It to late to save season 7 but it’s not to late to save season 8.
