The FA and the government have now decided to U-turn on their decision to bid for the 2030 world cup!  So off the back off being cheated out of the 2018 and 2022 World cups we are now being told that it would be and I quote:

"a giant, expensive vanity project".

This is direct from the Digital, Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) committee chair Julian Knight.

Well thanks for your opinion Julian but just because you aren't passionate about our beautiful game, you are obviously ignorant to how much this would mean to the football fans across the UK.

We don't want to hear about feasibility studies. There are things in life that are worth doing, not everything should come down to money. The last time we hosted the World Cup was in 1966 and the people of the UK deserve see us host it again, most of whom weren't even alive in 66. We deserve to have the sport we founded and love to COME HOME within our lifetime. If not now then when??? 

Hopefully this petition with prove what it means to football fans across the UK and maybe it will make you reconsider this ridiculous decision.
