Actions have consequences: the lesson everyone is taught from a young age. The moment you throw your first punch, the moment you break your first vase, the moment you toss your favorite baseball over the fence and never see it again. All of these simple actions are reminders that your actions have consequences, but what if those consequences affected more than just the guy you punch and your neighbor? What if, suddenly, you could ruin people and their carriers just because you don’t agree with the way you think? Oh, the power. But, fortunately, power has limits. Those limits are not currently being enforced, so I invite you to speak up and out against cancel culture and those who use it to their advantage. If said cancelers want racism and similar issues to be taken seriously, they shouldn’t call people whatever they want to try and make  them feel bad. Instead, such cancel words should be reserved for serious cases in which these words are actually needed. I don’t know about you, but I’m tired of walking out of my front door and being automatically called a racist because I’m white. Would that bother you, too, if every time you went somewhere someone put you in a category because of the way you look? News flash for you cancelers out there, we feel the same way to be generalized. So for those of you tired of cancel culture and the horrific pain it brings, come forward and solve a real problem. Take the first step and sign this petition, addressed to the world.
