3G pitches allowed in The English Football League

3G pitches need to be allowed in The English Football League. Many clubs in The National League use 3G pitches to help keep the club afloat and the fact that 3G pitches are forbidden in The English Football League is farcical.

My club Sutton United (along with Bromley and Maidstone United) are one of the clubs in The National League that use a 3G surface and with the possibility of promotion this season, it would set the club back around  £500,000 to dig up the surface and return to grass. Also, if we do get promoted and the club doesn't comply with FA regulations, Sutton will be sanctioned to a double relegation. Ridiculous.

Regardless of whether Sutton get promoted or not, 3G pitches should be allowed in the Football League. If it's good enough for the FA Cup, then why not The English Football League?
