Deforestation and damage to the ecosystem due to trials has caused irreversible effects in past. Hence the scientific approach currently stipulated in the draft policy needs more scrutiny before implementation. Ex. Growing specific species for increasing revenue is a big "no" considering the change of ecosystem and damages due to tremendous foot fall and equipment movement inside bio reserves.

Bio-diverse Forest is a life source to the rural life. Monoculture Forest destroys the ecology and it's only good for the industry and industrialists.

If the government does not heed the warnings of the two most concerned groups in this policy....the people who depend on the forests and our dedicated and brilliant ecologists...they will have failed the nation of the present and for generations to come. Government of India, OUR forests are not yours to barter or lease for profit. In no economy, anywhere in the world can industries who exploit forests for profit also promote conservation and regeneration of biodiversity ...that is blatantly obvious contradiction. We DO NOT need corporate or private partnerships to renew our forests...all we need is for the current government not to abdicate its responsibility to what is obviously one of its PRIMARY functions...to commit to protecting and renewing the natural substratum upon which the life of every one of its citizens, present and future, depends. This is REAL INFRASTRUCTURE DEVELOPMENT , is that so difficult to understand,?
