The South Bronx Campus gym roof has been leaking for over two years since before the COVID-19 pandemic. It has grown to become such a problem that PSAL games have to be forfeited and gym classes are being held in the school auditorium. Students work hard daily, every day of the week, every week of the month, every month of the school year, to maintain a GPA that enables them to participate in athletics. Without the gym in proper condition for athletics, all of that effort is wasted. All of our students’ talent is wasted. Fix the roof. Fix the leaks. Give us our gym and our sports back.
