I am currently working towards reparation for the residents of The Chadwick Luxury Apartments located in Koreatown, California. After numerous  attempts to come towards a solution, this property still remains infested by German Cockroach’s, Outdated Piping (Dirty Water) & Resident Mistreatment. Cockroaches/Pests occupy every part of our property from our parking garages, trash chutes, hallways to within the walls of our units. With The Chadwick Apartments also being a “Pet-Friendly” environment, it is very unsafe for our pets to deal with this current infestation. Homelessness is a serious problem for our community as they occupy the entire backstreet, which constantly leads to vandalism/theft, squatters and trespassing within our building. We have lost all feeling of security, comfort & well-being due to management taking minimal action towards issues brought to their attention. No tenant should have to deal with any unwanted pests, nor adhere to the repeated mistreatment of the property & manager. We need your help to ensure that everyone who has been affected is heard, receives recompense & The Chadwick Apartments to be condemned or remodeled due to being Extremely Uninhabitable and a Major Health Risk to our community.

We call upon The Board of Health & Mayor Eric Garcetti to provide current/recent residents with an actual solution such as recompense of past-paid rent & termination of all tenant lease agreements with NO outstanding balance or debts. In doing so, this will allow families to move to a Healthy “Tenant-Friendly” environment & stop the property from taking any further advantage of future tenants who are looking for their next home, as our inhumane living conditions are extremely unacceptable. With numerous complaints and fumigation attempts we’ve had no success in removing the pests from our units. When brought to management’s attention, more than most tenants receive little to no serious help at all and for some even discrimination specifically from the Current On-Site Manager. We the tenants urge you to speedily implement a plan for those affected by the current living conditions of The Chadwick, Re-evaluation of Property Management, And/or Condemn this property and it’s entirety.
