Food banks are not open long enough for children in education, single-mothers and other less able people to access food for themselves or their family. The lack of opening hours results in the inaccessibility of food banks across the country for those who need them most, the government needs to put in more funding to keep food banks open for longer and prevent hunger within your community. Currently they are completely volunteer run, however to improve accessibility and end hunger they need more funding.
