I have to pay £9.15 every month for my prescription so I can stay a ‘model citizen’. I have bipolar and if I want to go to work everyday and contribute to the country I HAVE to take my medication. If I want to have a good quality of life I HAVE to take my medication. 

Every single person in this country with a mental illness has to pay for medication for which they have no choice but to purchase. My feelings are if a continued physical disability is qualified for a medical exception certificate then so should a continued mental health condition. 

You could also argue the contraception pill, this is a choice and is free but mental health medication is not a choice, it is a NEED! It is morally wrong.
