Whoever’s running this- thank you!
We must do everything in our power to stop the administration’s Harvardification of Dartmouth. Namely: no sports, no frats, pretension and elitism. Unless we get in Hanlon’s way, swim, dive, and lightweight’s elimination will be a slippery slope to further changes that will ruin Dartmouth’s unique character.
Keep up the good work!

Swimming and diving athletes deserve programs at universities. Typically, these students are highly motivated individuals, maintain excellent grade averages, and are model students. As such, removing these programs removes desirable students from the university's population.

Competitive swimming is vital to every community it is in. The students often help teach swimming to local children. It is helpful to Encourage others to aspire to swim which is an important life skill. Swimming is a sport that can be enjoyed for a LIFETIME. So I believe it should be preserved as a varsity sport.
