My name is Elizabeth & I represent the fans of the beloved show "Life Sentence" which was a TV show created by Erin Cardillo and Richard Keith nearly 3 years ago about Stella (played by Lucy Hale) spent the last eight years living like she was dying (because she was). She faced her fears and found love on a trip to Paris. But when she learns her cancer is cured, she is suddenly forced to face the consequences of the "live in the moment" decisions she made, including marrying a stranger. And if that's not enough, she also finds out that her family isn't as perfect as she thought." and the show is now coming to an end.
We are here to tell you that the show doesn't deserve to end this early in the game. I know what you may be thinking..."The show went 12 episodes, that's enough." but it's NOT enough. Everyone involved in the show and all of the fans are NOT ready to say goodbye. There are good cliffhanger moments. One season is NOT enough as this show gives hope when all hope seems to be lost for so many fans all over the world. When there are negative situations, positive ones come out of it.
The cast which is made up of Lucy Hale (from Pretty Little Liars), Carlos Penavega (from band/TV show Big Time Rush, Grease Live, etc.) Elliot Knight Jr, Jayson Blair, & Brooke Lyons have put their hearts and souls into this project & they never thought that this show would have brought such a positive light to so many people but it has and this time isn't the time for it just burn out so quickly. This show deserves more.
Here are just a few of the many words some of the cast, crew & fans have to say about the show: Richard Keith (creator of the show): "If my heart had a sad face right now it would look like this. While the news wasn't unexpected, we were all sad to hear that @cw_lifesentence was cancelled today. To every single fan of Life Sentence, most of whom i have communicated with directly on twitter in the last few months: We cannot thank you enough for your support and passion for this show. While we are all beyond bummed that this show didn't find the audience we felt like it could have, we are glad it found you...Knowing that all our hard work meant something to each of you will make the next few days more bareable. And while there won't be a season two, we hope you will find the second half of our season as enjoyable to watch as we did to make it. We all feel like each episode gets better as the show goes on...so we hope you'll finish watching Stella and the Abbots figure out how to make the most of her Life Sentence. We'd also like to thank our amazing cast and crew lead by the amazing @lucyhale and the legend @vdoozer. It was an honor to work with you all. Except one of you. You know who you are... ;)"
Elliot Knight Jr who played "Wes": "It's here. What's come so quick after what feels like so long for the love i have for this show and these people and those of you that have joined us. Tonight is the end of our story. We hope you love it. As much as we did making it. I'll miss every one of @lucyhale @brookielyons @jaysonblair @nadejbailey @therealcarlospena @richkeith @theerincardillo @rileysmithofficial #GillianVigman #DylanWalsh and the rest of my awesome TV family, but i know that i've now made more awesome family in life too. You're all so talented and wonderful and i will miss watching you all come to life in these characters we had so much fun making together. I wish i was with you tonight."
One Fan said: "@lucyhale I would like to thank you for how much Stella's character has brought light and joy into my life. I've learned a lot from her. This show always comforted me when i had a bad day. Abott's family forever in my heart. #LifeSentence #LifeSentenceFinale @cw_lifesentence" Another fan said: "@brookelyons you changed me with #lifesentence things are different now and it means so much to me, #ThankYouLifeSentence and i'll miss you but always be grateful for this incredible show." Another fan said: " I can't believe we have to say goodbye to @cw_lifesentence tonight. In no way am I ready. This show has meant the world to me. It's made me FEEL and it's made me fall in love with its beautiful characters and i will miss it more than i can say. @lucyhale #lifesentence." Another fan said: "I'm trying to hold it together, but it's almost impossible! Even @nadejbailey tried to console me! It's NOT final...Love never dies! I love you! See you tonight! #lifesentence." One final fan said: " I'm so sad that tomorrow will be the last episode. It's already so hard to wait one week for another episode. I don't know how to survive without it. I love it so much. It makes me laugh so many times :"( :"( <3 <3 :"( <3 <3 <3 @lucyhale @cw_lifesentence #lucyhale #LifeSentence. "
So now you know first hand what we all have to say about the show, now it's time to make a decision: Will you A.) Save the show as the show was created with a cast and crew that have been working SO HARD on it since the premiere? or B.) Let it go to dust & crush its hopes and dreams?
This has been a message from Elizabeth & the fans of Life Sentence & we approve this message.
