Resignation of Prime Minister Theresa May

We, the people, call upon the United Kingdom's Conservative Party to urge the Prime Minister Theresa May, who failed to win the general election with a majority, to resign from office with immediate effect.
Mrs. May has no mandate to govern, as her party did not win enough seats to secure a majority in Parliament during the general election which took place on 8 June 2017.
As Mrs. May said herself on 20 May 2017, posting from her Twitter account, "if I lose just six seats I will lose this election and Jeremy Corbyn will be sitting down to negotiate with Europe."
We believe that with her credibility destroyed, which she chose to put on the line by calling an election which no one else had demanded, the Prime Minister is now unfit to lead the country.
She has no personal mandate for her domestic policies after her manifesto was roundly rejected by the electorate, nor to represent the United Kingdom (UK) in the important upcoming negotiations between the UK and the European Union.
We therefore ask that the Conservative Party acknowledge their defeat under Mrs. May in the general election, rather than assuming entitlement to power.
