This petition was created to raise awareness & gather sufficient interest for the need of a Ruakāka Village Community Hall (Multi Purpose Hall)- a hall that can provide overnight facilities.

We are aware that there are multiple halls within the area, however each hall comes with different rules & regulations and neither halls are made to accommodate overnight stays for small or large groups.

Multi-Purpose-

• Tangihana (funerals)
• Youth Camps, School Camps
• Community Events
• Workshops
• Celebrations: Weddings, Birthdays, Work Do’s, Sport Events etc
• Community Meetings
• Fundraisers

This Hall could potentially benefit our community in more ways than one. With your support we could possibly make it happen �

Why Ruakāka Village?

Ruakāka Village is the only community without a hall of its own, Said with the Utmost respect as I am aware that the surrounding halls are very supportive within the community where they can be. Why not have a hall that can provide all of the above in one place.
