How many of us mow our lawns (when it isn’t raining) and say to ourselves, “Sure would be nice to have Eel River Disposal collect our green waste every week like our trash and recycling.” I know I have. Every time I mow the lawns at my house, mostly after weeks of growth due to rain and wet grass, I find myself with several bags of lawn clippings. Then, I have to find time in my busy schedule to take those clippings to the dump in Fortuna. Maybe you don’t own a truck or have a way to take the clippings to the dump, so you decided to hire a lawn service instead?  Does any of this sound familiar? If it does, then we need to do something to change it. 

Please sign this petition if you would like to see green waste collection come to our awesome little town. With the signatures on this petition, and the help of supervisor Rex Bohn, maybe we can bring green waste disposal to the Loleta community.
