Petitioning The Commission on Presidential Debates (CPD)

Ensure each candidate answers three questions about nuclear disarmament.

While public budgets are being slashed and there is a hyper-focus on waste, fraud and abuse, we should be scaling down the massive financial, diplomatic and security losses of nuclear weapons for global security, sanity and sensibility. The three questions should address the US legal obligations to international treaties; the danger of nuclear weapons especially, high alert status weapons, "loose nukes" and mismanagement of nuclear weapons by our own military; the wastefulness of spending money on a large portion of outdated, expensive nuclear weapons and operations in areas that are no longer threats. http://projectfornuclearawareness.org/
