TCNJ Students started this petition to The College of New Jersey Administration

TCNJ students know Metzger Drive as "The Loop".  The Loop is the road that circles TCNJ's entire campus, with two exits - one to Pennington Road and the other leading to Green Lane.  The Loop is a popular route for students to go on a walk or a run, providing roughly 1.74 miles around.  It's also used often by students who walk or bike from off-campus housing.  Despite being such a popular and necessary way for students to get to class and stay active, less than half of Metzger Drive has a sidewalk.  Students who want to run, walk or ride a bike along The Loop are forced to do so in the street, alongside cars passing by from both directions.  Signs are displayed along the loop that read "For safety, walk/run along the side facing traffic", proving that TCNJ's administration is aware of these dangerous conditions but chooses to look the other way.  Please sign this petition so we can bring it to President Foster and show that the students of TCNJ need a truly safe way to run, walk, or bike along The Loop!
