I quit my job as a primary school teacher because of all the changes to education that this man has made. Now I'm free but I worry for my children who have to go through an education full of so many things that Gove has pushed for and that I believe are truly wrong - too much testing too early, not enough play in the early years curriculum, rote learning and not enough emphasis on creativity, individuality and fun. Poor kids of the future.

He is acting as though teachers do nothing when he has never even been a teacher himself - he would not last a term teaching in a school. He doesn't how much time teachers put in unpaid, out of their allocated hours!!!

Because Michael Gove is the single worst thing ever to have happened to our education system.

This man is undoing the decades of progress in the education system; as it was, it may not have been perfect, but his blinkered idealisms are doing nothing to develop it. How is it, I ask, that someone with no experience in this sector can be in charge of the lives and futures of so many millions of students? Obviously his private education gives the government reason enough to put him in control of the country and push our education system today closer towards to the Public Schooling of the majority of the Tory party... "It worked for us, so it must work for them!"
