At Arroyo Valley High School we have been told that we are not allowed to embellish our caps for graduation. We want to take a stand and address this rule, and how it doesn't benefit anyone. With this petition we show our concern and passion for the graduating class. We as human beings, have every right to express ourselves. This expression can be as simple as decorating our caps. This rule hasn't changed since 02/05/2008, that was 14 years ago. You can see how that can be an issue, because as time goes on people change. When the minds of others have switched up, then it is apparent to listen to the people. Just because the rule has been set a long time ago doesn't mean we shouldn't be able to critique it.
