Install sidewalks on Meadowbrook and Fraserwood

We are residents of Meadowbrook and Fraserwood Roads, working together with Councillor Josh Colle's office of the City of Toronto to address the dangerous lack of sidewalks on our streets.
Meadowbrook and Fraserwood Rds. are made up of low-rise rental buildings, and the density of families with small children is thus much higher than that of the surrounding streets, yet, these are the only two streets in the area without a sidewalk on either side.

As a result, families and children are forced to walk in the street, with cars zooming by. Particularly, the curve at the west end, where Fraserwood Park is situated is extremely dangerous. Often, cars will swing around the corner, unaware that there may be a family (often with kids as the park is right there) walking in the street.

The City of Toronto will be assessing the situation in the springtime, and the bureaucratic process to resolve this will likely take a long time. However, Councillor Colle has told us that he is able to push this issue to immediate attention if we the residents can demonstrate that there is adequate interest, in the form of a petition. Anyone who lives in the neighborhood can sign, you do not need to live on Meadowbrook or Fraserwood.

We need YOUR HELP! Please sign and help to increase the safety for the children of our neighbourhood!
