Preserve Dogwood Park

The City of Surrey has 200 parks, 9 of which are off-leash dog parks. The bureaucrats of the city of Surrey have decided to erect a fence through the forest to separate dog walkers from the cyclist and joggers. In their proposed plan, 1/3rd of the dog walking trails will be off limits to dog walkers and the fence will block a major trail used by Elgin Park Secondary Students. We propose that the fence is erected on the lower existing trail running along Elgin Pak Secondary. This plan would allow the city of Surrey to create a dedicated area for both dog walkers, cyclists, joggers and students without impeding on 1/3rd of Dogwood Park's trails.
