This is so wrong,police need to get some knowledge about dogs instead of just shooting them,dogs dont know the differance between police and someone up to no good,in fact the police prob.look more like the bad ones,the way they are going about things............

This is unbelievable!!! People in this so-called "Land of the Free" have gone too far!!! Police are killing our furry family members at an alarming rate, and "officials" are taking our dogs and declaring them "vicious" for dogs acting like dogs! We have got to take our nation back! We have got to stand up and say NO MORE!!! I have a 2 1/2 year old Yellow Lab who the absolute love of my life. He is the sweetest thing everrrr! Labs are one of the friendliest, nonagressive, loving, breeds out there! Praying for sweet Sam...

I'm getting tired of people's pets being euthanized because the city deems them vicious and dangerous! When the dog was just barking at the policeman, why did he feel it necessary to shoot him? Any dog would bark at someone banging on their house. Get real!

this is why people own dogs I want mine to bark when people are at my house more so when my husband isn't home. and why couldn't the police just knock? instead of banging? seems to me they caused it.

Why these cops are so scared of barking dogs. Don't they know that is their nature... No one needs to bang on my windows to provoke my dogs to bark, as one passing my home my dogs bark like crazy. Are they vicious? hell NO. Please do not let Sam killed.

I also am a dog owner. I have a 3 year old golden retriever and when anyone enters our yard she barks to warn me. Labs are perfect family dogs and not know to be vicious. I understand barking can be an annoyance to neighbors but does not give the right to euthanize an animal who is a vital part of this family. Small children are involved and this will traumatize them. Please give this dog back to this family who loves this animal and has a right to life. In Gods name I pray you show mercy. Angela Williams
