A "San Antonio Park Master Plan" was just released to our neighborhood. Much to our surprise, majority of the master plan involves the construction of an expensive Fire Station IN THE PARK with MINOR updates to the overall park, and with a possibility of current amenities being taken away.  Drawings are being done, fees are already being spent, and their progress is being presented at the next round of community meetings scheduled for end of-May.

May 24th . Please make sure to attend!

Our neighborhood, by and large, is opposing this land grab by the City and Fire Department. This would develop precious open space in an area that is already one the most densely populated in Oakland. For many families, the outdoor play areas offered by San Antonio Park are their only options for outside recreation.

WE NEED TO PUT PRESSURE ON Council President Nikki Fortunato Bas as TO RESCIND THIS PROPOSAL.

GREEN SPACE IS SACRED
