The City of Oakland has implemented a City Employee vaccination mandate and is in the process of firing dozens of City workers, firefighters and police officers.

Currently, the City of Oakland is in crisis. Out of control crime and low staffing has pushed the City to its breaking point. The unreasonable vaccine mandate will drag the City’s numbers lower.

While the City contends with COVID outbreaks, largely spread by the vaccinated employees, the City seeks to rid itself of the unvaccinated police officers, many of which have more than two decades of experience fighting crime in Oakland, and who have worked under extremely difficult and dangerous circumstances throughout the pandemic.

These heroes who have sacrificed so much for so long stand to lose their livelihoods because of an unreasonable mandate that has been proven to have no bearing on public safety.

Please sign this petition to show the City of Oakland that the citizens want to keep their police officers, firefighters and other city workers that combined have decades of experience keeping the City safe, and also to safeguard the financial welfare of themselves and their families.
