Carrollton City Hall has said The Carrollton Oasis could not have any noise in the outside patio bar area after 10pm over 10 decibels.  To give you an idea of the noise restriction, that is less than most cars, and far less than the tractor trailers that pass through on US67.  We would like to get as many people as possible to sign this petition and show community support for Dave and Cheri Hyink.  The Carrollton Oasis is very good for the community.  On band night it brings a lot of revenue into the town for the gas stations, hotel, and certainly the other local businesses.  The Carrollton Oasis donates to almost every athletic group in Carrollton, plus they signed back up for the Hawk cards.  They also donated to most of the local memorial benefits. We agree on Sunday through Thursday, but on Friday and Saturday nights, The Carrollton Oasis should be permitted to have live music and a DJ at least until 12am, if not 1am.  They also employ around 17 people, so they are doing their best to create jobs in our own town.  With taxes that are off the charts, they still make it profitable.  They work everyday and take a lot of pride in what they do.  Please sign and share this petition.  It will be taken to the next city board meeting.
