Petition for Pope Francis to host Alfie Evans's funeral at the Liverpool Cathedral
0 have signed. Let’s get to 100!
The remarkable story of young Alfie Evans from Liverpool has touched the hearts of many millions of people around the world, including Pope Francis. His life was tragically cut short due to an undiagnosed neurodegenerative disorder. His parents fought tirelessly and valiantly to find a diagnosis and a treatment for their son's condition. Sadly, no diagnosis was found and Alfie died peacefully surrounded in the loving embrace of his parents Kate James and Tom Evans.
Because of Alfie's plight, the Pope was moved and offered his services to get Alfie to Bambino Gesu Hospital in Rome. I think it would be a warm gesture to request the Pope host the funeral mass of brave little Alfie here in Liverpool. Let's give this little soldier a good send off.
I ask you to sign the petition, get the attention of his Holiness, and give Alfie Evans the send off he truly deserves
