I was lucky enough to have 2 rounds of ivf in Liverpool . This should not be a decision based on where you live. There needs to be a lot more done in response to why people can’t conceive as it is such a varied and complex issue.... not having the choice of ivf in itself I cannot imagine ... not being able to conceive through no fault of your own is a gut wrenching, traumatic, heartbreaking experience for many couples and is very hard for those who haven’t been through it to understand. Please don’t take this important funding away for these couples.

I had IVF at Bourn Hall in Cambridge and because of them I have a beautiful 5 year old girl. I didn’t get any funding where I live in Halstead as the criteria changed week we were referred, so I had to work 60hour weeks for a period of 3 years to be able to pay for it. I know how hard it is and it’s very unfair. Don’t give up though even if you have to raise the money yourself do whatever you can and you will get there. I am thankful everyday for my daughter, she looks just like me and makes me smile all the time. Xxxc

Not being able to have children when there's nothing more than that for you is a mental illness and everybody should be helped as much as possible, why else do we pay our taxes.

I had to pay for my ivf as the funding wasn’t available in Cambridge and doesn’t seem fair I had to just because of the area I live in , thankfully we have a beautiful baby on the way but will take a long time to pay back the money and don’t want others to be In the Same situation
