Cumulus Media has failed to obtain the proper music licensing to allow the 93x Half Assed Morning Show to play music on the podcast. The listeners are demanding that this is resolved as polls have indicated that podcast listeners make up a measurable amount of the audience. This did not use to be a problem until someone realized that they didn't have the proper licensing and it's yet to be addressed. This is a radio morning show and music is the topic of discussion almost every day. Instead of paying the required licensing fees, Cumulus has opted to pay individuals to manually remove any music from the podcast.
