Coronavirus is a worldwide pandemic that must be taken seriously. Currently, The Bromfield School plans to close down school temporarily only when students are officially diagnosed with the disease. However, we argue that because the virus, especially when affecting younger teens, does not show symptoms for a long period, up to multiple weeks, our school must be closed before the virus shows up. If we wait until students start showing symptoms, then many people would already be infected at that point, just not showing symptoms.
