It makes little sense that the IELTS result is valid only for 2 years. Especially if the person has succesfuly studied or worked in an English speaking environment. Ones primary college or university degree is accepted decades down the road, driving licence the same but the ability or command of the English language lasts only 48 months no matter how well one has done in the test. This has to change. It is a huge cost to the mostly downtrodden education and financial migrants of the earth. Can the powers that be look into making a positive change in this regard? IELTS validity should be for more than 2 years period.
