A level Further Physics in Colleges throughout the UK
The problem with current a level physics, is that most of the content is merely an approximation with a total disregard for calculus, one of the most useful tools for a physicist. Therefore, I propose to start a new subject, further physics, that will cover the same content as physics, but will involve calculus and other mathematical techniques (this means a level maths will be mandatory for this subject) but, for those who are less keen on maths, the original physics subject will still be available. This can be a great stepping stone to physics at higher education, therefore enabling students to achieve better grades in physics .
