dani johnson started this petition to The Board of Education

(You may use this for your school as well, I have no hold on this petition it was just my original idea. So the more signatures we get overall the better for you and your cause - Basically if we get 4000 signatures since we're all fighting for the same cause you can give all of these signatures to the head of your school.)

In the beginning of the year I had brightly colored hair. I had dyed it during quarantine. And I had dyed it to a red, because I knew of the school's policy on hair colors. But I had walked in expecting just another year but then I was called down to the office for having an outrageous hair color. the dean who was explaining how I couldn't have coloured hair, had blue / turquoise hair. I believe that the hair color rule should be changed, because with all that is going on who cares what colour a students' hair is.

We are also required to wear black/white/school issued masks while the teachers get to wear whatever kind of mask they please with words symbols and bright colors. I'm not asking for a no mask allowance, I just think that the students in a school should be able to have some form of expression, and again with everything that has gone on in the past year, who cares if a student wears a mask that has pink polka dots on it. As long as there wearing a mask.

Our youth is what shapes us, if our schools don't give us some form of expression then we are all going to be boring accountants when we grow up, with a boring cat, and a boring life. Please sign this petition for our schools to be more involved with our form of expression
