We endorse the contents of the letter and urge The Biennale of Sydney as Australia’s most significant and long-standing, international contemporary art festival – the largest and most well-attended event of its kind in Australia – to lead by example, and to act with urgency and resolve on this matter.
Your action will set a precedent for Australian institutions to become transparent and create ethical codes of practice in relation to seeking and accepting sponsorship and philanthropy.
