Fix the School System

The English Industrial Revolution was a giant step forward for the human race. One problem was the treatment of the poor. They had bad work hours, unsafe work places, kids worked in factories and they had small wages. Most of these things have changed, such as, 8 hour works days, minimum wages and safety regulations in the work place. One thing has not changed... the school system. Ever since the Industrial revolution kids have gone to school sat in front of a board and taught to remember information that will help them get a job they don't necessarily want or will be good at. Study shows that people who go through school will forget everything they learn after three years of finishing school. This is because you are required to remember information, this is not a proper way of learning. The best way for someone to learn is for them to be passionate and good at what they're learning, this is why the school system needs to change. The system needs to find what the student is best at and teach them how to perfect that skill, in schools today students have to learn Science, Math, English and Social Studies. Students who fail at these subjects feel less intelligent and less capable then their piers. When really they are amazing at another subject that has been ignored.
"Everybody is a Genius. But If You Judge a Fish by Its Ability to Climb a Tree, It Will Live Its Whole Life Believing that It is Stupid." -Einstein
This change in the school system will improve the problem of mental health in students, dropouts, failures, etc. With all the jobs available today students should be able to learn what they wish. Please sign the petition so the future generation can do what they love, well, and care free.
