Saying that clapping for Capt Sir Tom Moore was 'cult of white British nationalism' is racist, divisive and highly insensitive to the very recently bereaved relatives of the late Sir Tom Moore! 
Sir Tom selflessly raised a large amount of money to support the NHS in this crisis, his actions wholly honourable! The clap last night was a mark of respect for this selfless, inspirational individual and has nothing to do with race, nor skin colour! Reverend Jarel Robison-Brown has brought the church into disrepute and attitudes like this are completely at odds with the principles of Christianity and humanity!

The subsequent apology by the Reverend is not a mitigating circumstance. What was said cannot be undone!
