The Star Spangled Banner is really old, and was written by a racist guy. Rockin’ In The Free World is WAY newer, WAY cooler, and Neil Young is a chill guy. The song also represents America a lot better, because there’s a lot of outdated references in the Star Spangled Banner. For example, the first line is “O’Say can you see?”, and I’ve literally never heard anyone say O’Say.
