On February 14, 2018, former Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School student Nikolas Cruz entered the Parkland, Florida school and opened fire in the school's hallways killing 17 students and faculty members and wounding a dozen more. It is one of the most horrific examples of school violence in history. The true motive behind, and cause of, the shooting is still unclear. However, in recent weeks, it has been revealed by numerous students themselves in public forums, they engaged in bullying, taunting, harassing and ostracizing Cruz for "years."
MSD Student Emma Gonzalez admitted to such during her speech at the March For Our LIves rally/protest in Washington, D.C. March 24, 2018:
“Since he was in middle school, it was no surprise to anyone who knew him, that he was the shooter. Those talking about how we should have not ostracized him? You didn’t know this kid! OK? We did!” ~ Emma Gonzalez (Reference: https://youtu.be/9TOFaW9FgPA)
“He looked like a school shooter,” explained MSD Student Marolo Alvarez in an interview during a vigil for the MSD students killed in the rampage. "I could have said something to administrators, that ‘hey this kid gets bullied a lot, please help him, please reach out to him.’ I kind of regret not doing that.”
The American Patriot Alliance does not condone, support, excuse or justify for ANY reason the actions Cruz took that day. But we acknowledge, if an honest, open, non-partisan discussion is to be held in an effort to address and find tangible and effective solutions to curb school violence, then ALL subject MUST be addressed. Therefore...
The AMERICAN PATRIOT ALLIANCE, our subscribers, supporters and followers, as well as the parents/residents of the City of Parkland and the citizens of Florida DEMAND Broward County Prosecutor Michael Satz and Sheriff Scott Israel immediately launch a criminal investigation into the activities of those students and classmates who have admitted to, insinuated and referenced their tactics and biased actions against Nikolas Cruz, to include bullying, taunting, harassing and ostracizing.
We DEMAND this investigation be launched under authority of STATUTE TITLE XLVIII / CHAPTER 1006 / PART I / CHAPTER 'C:1006.147': BULLYING AND HARASSMENT PROHIBITED, enacted by the Florida State Legislature in 2017.
In 2013, Polk County, Florida law enforcement arrested two individuals in the case of Rebecca Sedwick, a 13-year-old who committed suicide September 9, 2013 after enduring months of bullying by numerous students and classmates. In addition, we reference the most recent Panama City, Florida case from January 10, 2018 in which 12-year-old Gabriella "Gabbie" Green committed suicide after being subjected to months of cyber-bullying by classmates. Two pre-teens have been arrested in that case. (http://fox61.com/2018/01/24/two-pre-teens-charged-with-cyberbullying-after-12-year-old-commits-suicide/
ACTIONS have CONSEQUENCES and until the apparent systemic bullying and harassment by MSDHS students David Hogg, Emma Gonzalez, Marolo Alverez, et al, and lack of acknowledgment and action on behalf of the staff and faculty, are addressed, JUSTICE will never see the light of day for the families of the victims.
