The American Academy of Pediatrics: Remove the members of the AAP Task Force on Circumcision from the AAP
New article discrediting the Task Force's report
Mar 19, 2013 — Fantastic article published yesterday skewering the AAP Circumcision Task Force for cultural bias and poor evidence gathering: http://pediatrics.aappublications.org/content/early/2013/03/12/peds.2012-2896.full.pdf
This article is of some redeeming value for the organization itself, but this alone will not due. The removal and public discrediting of the Task Force members would add enormous credit to both the AAP and American pediatricians in general. This would bring about a much needed infant circumcision policy revision, thereby increasing the ethics in American neonatal medicine. Primum non nocere, AAP. Thank you signers!
