Someone to "thank"
Oct 19, 2012 — As the clock ticks away towards my eviction on Wednesday, I'm forced to take off my normal "be nice" gloves.
For about a week, I've been working with Representative Jackie Speier's office, hoping that they would help resolve all of this. They have declined to get involved. Apparently, they have a policy that prevents them from getting involved once a house has been sold. They believe that after a sale, the matter could involve litigation so they don't do anything. The bank sold my house without telling me. I don't have ESP, so I couldn't have contacted Ms. Speier's office before the sale. Her office is willing to get me information about low-cost and subsidized housing.
If you want to thank her office for their "help" and non-involvement and the information about low-cost and subsidized housing, please contact her and let them know what you think.
