PETITION TO LOOK INTO "NO CERTIFICATE SYNDROM" OF PAST SOBS STUDENTS

The Alumini Group of the School of Bilingual Secretaryship (SOBS) of Ghana Institute of Languages (GIL) hereby registers its unwavering support to all their members who have, as a matter of clear inefficient management, been denied certificates after their three (3) or four (4) years of study for an HND in Bilingual Secretaryship with the institution.
As a matter of fact, these victims claim to have paid their fees in full. The only fault on their part is failing to keep their payment receipts for the three (3) years of study. This however is not support to be a problem since the account department is supposed to have copies of receipts of all these transactions. Our concern, as a group of alumni, is the fact that this did not occur in the case of a handful of our members but a considerable number of them are in fact victims of the syndrom.
We are, by this petition, requesting the administration of Ghana Institute of Languages to:
- Launch a full investigation into the matter
-Find a compromise to provide victims with certificates
-Find a permanent solution to the issue
