The dress codes at most schools are inherently sexist and provide harsher restrictions on girls compared to boys. They limit the freedom of students and can decrease the persons overall happiness and perception of school. Women wearing even slightly revealing clothes are not inherently sexualized by men and to pretend that they are is gross. As a male, I can’t speak entirely on this topic, but I can tell you I don’t pass out at the mere sight of a bra strap. You are limiting clothing that I can see in public. Its clear what you mean when you say it can disrupt class. You are the ones sexualizing women, not the students.
