The lack of financial literacy is rising in current adults and it shows in the current state of bad financial habits in young and old adults. We believe a counteraction to this problem is building a solid understanding of saving methods, building assets and investing. Together building these skills at a young age can lead to a more financially responsible and literate adulthood. We want students that graduate out of Oakland Tech to be financially literate with their decisions, especially going into college or the real world.
